Baires reached Panama
THE FOREIGN TRADE DEPARTMENT CONTINUES TO OPEN ITS HORIZONS: ARRIVING IN PANAMA, A STRATEGIC POINT IN LATIN AMERICA.

After several years of market research and searching for opportunities, an agreement was finally reached for Baires landing in the Caribbean country, in the first instance with the brand of the massive sector Voraz. The intention of the Foreign Trade area is to incorporate other brands, taking advantage of the broad portfolio of products that the company offers.
Panama is located in southern Central America bordering on Colombia (to the south) and Costa Rica (to the north). The country is the geographical setting for the canal, a work that facilitates communication between the coasts of the Pacific and Atlantic oceans and that significantly influences world trade.
With a population of more than four million inhabitants, it has a privileged position in various growth and development classifications in Latin America, such as the 2018 Human Development Index, (fifth in Latin America).
Panama is the third most competitive country in Latin America according to the World Economic Forum, but also the Latin American country with the highest economic growth.
Panama is the tenth destination country for Baires exports, from Foreign Trade they project for the second semester of 2020 an expansion of its client portfolio.
